Why Architecture

For choosing any career, the one thing that anyone should keep in mind is the ‘demand & supply’ of the field.

An ordinary mistake made by students: they focus on the current demand & supply. Instead they should realize what would the trend be when they graduate after 4-5 years. Majority of science students are today are following the common race of engineering (computers and IT) which has already started to show saturation.

Such a situation attracts our attention towards ARCHITECTURE where students can build a secured future.

Today in India massive infrastructures are coming up in urban, suburban and rural areas in a tremendous speed and so is the demand for professions in the stream. According to data collected by Council of Architecture, New Delhi, there are only 10-12 thousand registered architects in India while we need them in lakhs to serve the population of more than 100 crores. This shows a massive shortage of professionals and the gap needs to be filled.

A survey shows that only 10-15% of the country’s infrastructure has been constructed and for the coming 20 years development will on a continuous rise. Hence there is a huge demand of architects who can design these infrastructures and execute the designs.
